We are a company providing accounting, tax and audit services to clients across various industries. The Accountant will be responsible for managing the accounting needs of multiple clients, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This role requires strong communication skills to liaise directly with clients, address their financial queries, and provide expert support in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and account management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage bookkeeping and financial records for multiple clients
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss reports
- Handle client communication regarding accounting and financial reporting matters
- Reconcile bank statements and oversee accounts payable/receivable for clients
- Assist clients with budgeting, financial planning, and cost control
- Prepare financial reports and analysis to support client decision-making
- Liaise with banks, auditors, and external stakeholders on behalf of clients
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal company policies
- Maintain proper documentation of financial records for auditing and compliance purposes
- Provide support and guidance to clients on accounting best practices
- Collaborate with the Tax Manager to provide necessary financial data for tax filings and compliance
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar)
- Ability to learn new financial tools and systems quickly
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and client management skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an accounting services firm
- Computer literate with experience in accounting software
- Fluent in Russian and English (knowledge of Arabic is an advantage)
